I Cloned a $33k/month YouTube Channel with ONLY 15 Videos (FULL COURSE)
Ink Explainer has only 15 videos and almost 100,000 subscribers. One upload hit 8.3 million views in a month, and vidIQ estimates it at $33,000 a month. Newer copycats like Inkly (2.2M views in its first month) and Ancient Life show the format isn’t a fluke. You kept asking for the simplest way to make these daily and what it actually costs, so this video answers both. It uses just two tools: Claude Code (the brain) and Higgsfield (50% off) MCP (the hands).
Setup (5 minutes)
- Install Claude Code.
- Settings → Connectors → + → add an MCP server.
- On Higgsfield, open the MCP section, select Claude, copy the link, paste it into Claude Code and name it Higgsfield.
- Select the Opus 5.5 model and choose a fresh project folder (e.g.
stick-figures). Everything you create lands there.
Pick a channel to model, not copy
I modeled Inkly rather than Ink Explainer because it’s new: its videos took off because of the topics, not channel authority. That means yours can too. We study the formula, not steal videos.
Run the Channel DNA Extractor
Paste the master prompt into Claude Code, then give it the channel URL. Claude analyzes transcripts, titles, pacing and thumbnails, and saves an HTML report: title patterns, thumbnail analysis, hook structure, script format and pacing. In other words, the channel’s DNA.
Then it gives you 10 fresh ideas the channel hasn’t made yet, built on its winning title formula. I picked “How did ancient people keep food fresh in summer without a fridge?”
Script and voice
- Length tip: this channel averages about 13 minutes. To beat it, go 15–20 minutes.
- Ask for tweaks freely: “Make the script more fun, relatable and casual.”
- Approve it and Claude generates the voiceover with Higgsfield text-to-speech. Prefer manual? Use ElevenLabs.
Visuals
Choose the channel-matching stick-figure style, 16:9, 2K resolution (saves credits), and an image cadence. The modeled channel changes images every 2–3 seconds, so I used 2.5 s.
Claude first makes one style-anchor image plus a full shot list (timestamps, voiceover line, image idea). Approve it and all 38 images generate automatically. It even makes three thumbnail options.
Edit fast in CapCut
In CapCut: Settings → Edit → Image duration = 2.5 s. Then select all images and drag them in at once. The whole video syncs instantly. Add sound effects, a TV-off fade where it fits, and quiet background music.
What it costs
I asked Claude Code to break down every credit. On my plan:
| Video | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1 minute (2.5 s cadence) | about $3 |
| 20 minutes, 2.5 s cadence | about $35 |
| 20 minutes, 4 s cadence | about $23 |
| 20 minutes, 5 s cadence | about $19 |
A 10-minute video like this channel’s lands around $13–17.
