Ink Explainer was less than two months old: 11 videos, 36K+ subscribers, and at about a $5 RPM roughly $6,000 a month from stick figures. Almost every video crosses 100K views. You asked for a faster way without five different tools, and the real cost. So this uses two tools: Claude Code (the brain) and Higgsfield (50% off) MCP (the hands), plus a voice.

Setup

  1. Install Claude Code (Windows or Mac).
  2. Hands: Settings → Connectors → + → paste Higgsfield’s Claude MCP link (from MCP & CLI) and name it Higgsfield.
  3. Voice: in ElevenLabs → Developers → API keys → Create key. In Claude Code type “Install the ElevenLabs API” and paste the key.
  4. Pick the strongest model (Fable 5 at the time) and a project folder (stick figure demo). Everything lands there.

Model a channel, don’t copy it

Like a chef who learns the recipe and cooks their own dish: we study why Ink Explainer works, then make something new.

Paste the 17-page master prompt. Claude checks which tools are available, then asks which channel to analyze. Paste the channel URL (more precise than the name). It returns an HTML breakdown: title patterns, thumbnail analysis, hook structures, script format and pacing. That’s one or two days of manual work. (Optional: connect the free NexLev MCP the same way for richer data.)

Ideas, script and voice

You get 10 ideas labeled as topics the channel hasn’t made. I picked How did ancient humans sleep without beds?

  • Length: the channel averages about 8 minutes. To beat it, go 15–20 minutes. Longer watch time gets pushed to more people.
  • Ask for a lighter tone if needed, then say yes. Claude generates the MP3 through the ElevenLabs API.

Visuals: cadence is everything

16:9, 2K (4K isn’t needed). The image cadence matters most. Beginners keep images on screen longer to save credits, and retention drops. Sweet spot: 2.5–4 seconds.

Claude makes one test image and a full shot list (timestamps, voiceover line, image idea). Approve it and all 30 images generate, download to your folder, plus three thumbnail samples.

Edit: three options

Claude asks how to handle motion: Ken Burns stills (slow zoom, free, fast), plain stills, or Higgsfield image-to-video. I chose Ken Burns, and Claude built the whole edit in HyperFrames Studio, already synced to the narration. Prefer your own editor? Import everything into CapCut and add soft music.

What it costs

Video Cost
1 minute (35 images incl. tests) about 70 credits, roughly $0.70–1
20 minutes at 2.5 s cadence about $14–19
20 minutes at 5 s cadence about $9–12

The faster pace costs a bit more, but better retention gives your video a far better chance.
