Make Viral Time Lapse Plant Growth Videos & Go Viral
A strawberry falls on the ground, and in thirty seconds it grows into a whole new plant. Videos like this are getting millions of views right now, and almost nobody is talking about it.
The channel I found is NatureVerse. It started posting at the end of July and already has 171,000 subscribers and 148 million views in three months. A cucumber that falls and grows again got 53 million views; a ginger root falling from a basket got 33 million. Estimates put its earnings around $15,000 so far, and there’s a business email on its About page, which is where brands come to pay for a shoutout. And it isn’t luck: another channel that started in July has only 3,000 subscribers, and its 30-second strawberry got almost 2 million views.
The formula
Every Short is the same: one fruit falls, a sprout comes out, the plant grows, and it ends full of fruit. Thirty seconds, no voice, one Short a day. Even the titles copy each other: “From a fallen cucumber to a new plant.”
It works because there’s no voice, so anyone in any country can watch, and you have to stay till the end to see the harvest, so people often watch twice. A year ago this needed a real garden and months of waiting, and AI video broke after ten seconds. The newest models make 30 seconds in one go.
Step 1: Clone the formula with Claude
Grab the free master prompt (comment GROW under the video, or get it in my community). Open their Shorts tab, sort by Popular, and copy the titles of their top Shorts. In Claude (it works the same in ChatGPT), paste the master prompt, then paste the titles under it.
Claude finds the formula and the two title patterns that get the most views, then gives you 10 ideas. I picked the strawberry, because that 30-second strawberry already proved it works. It then plans the shot in four marks and writes four picture prompts.
The part most people skip: the four prompts are exactly the same. Same soil, same light, same camera. Only the plant changes. That’s what keeps it from changing shape halfway through.
Step 2: Make 4 matching pictures
I use Higgsfield (50% off) for pictures and video. It’s paid; I tested other tools and they didn’t give me the quality I wanted, and all the best models are in one place.
- Go to Image, set it to vertical, and paste the first prompt.
- Click Reference so this first picture guides the other three.
- Paste the other three prompts. If one looks off, make just that one again.
Step 3: Make one 30-second clip with Kling 4.0
Open Video and pick Kling 4.0. It makes up to 30 seconds in one clip, twice the 15-second limit of Kling 3.0, so one clip is one whole Short. Choose Frames, add your pictures in order, paste the video prompt from Claude, and set it to 30 seconds and 1080p.
The Generate button shows the price first: 97.5 credits for the full 30 seconds. To save money, test at 720p and 5 seconds, then make the full one once you like it.
Fix the plant that jumps
My first try hit all four marks, but the plant jumped twice, because it tried so hard to hit every picture that it skipped between them. On try two I used only the first and last pictures and added one line to the prompt:
no jumps between stages
That one came out smooth. My tip: start with just the first and last picture. Fewer pictures, smoother video.
Step 4: Turn 1 clip into 2 Shorts
Open Edit video, add the clip, and make one change only. Claude’s idea: turn the red strawberries into white ones (pineberries, which most people have never seen). It costs 120 credits for a full 30-second edit.
My mistake: it came out wide, because Aspect ratio was on 16:9. Scroll down and set it to 9:16 before you click generate. Do this with five fruits and you have a whole week of posts.
Step 5: Post it
Claude already wrote your title with their pattern (“A strawberry fell… then this happened.”). Add the line at the top of your Short and a few hashtags, and post one every day. Start right on the fall, never on an empty shot, because the first second decides if people keep watching.
What one Short costs
| Item | Credits |
|---|---|
| Four pictures | 26 |
| Two tries of the 30-second clip | 195 |
| The edit | 120 |
| Total, mistakes included | about 340 |
| Right the first time | about 125 |
