Claude Code Builds a Full 3D Documentary Channel (Start to Finish)

Those 3D mannequin-style documentaries are everywhere. Channels like Outplayed (31K subs from 33 videos), Black Files (450K+ subscribers, 50M+ views) and Quinn (about 1.5M views and 14K subs in its first 30 days, from seven videos) all use the same format. I’ve used Claude Code to clone more than 11 channels in three months, and this is the full pipeline: branding, topics, script, voice, animation, thumbnails and editing.

1. Set up the project and branding

  1. Open the free Google Doc (in the Vault) → Master prompt → copy Step 1.
  2. In Claude Code, pick a project folder first (I named mine 3D documentary). Everything you create lands there.
  3. Paste the prompt: you get five channel concepts. I chose Nocturn.

2. Connect Higgsfield so Claude makes the visuals

In Claude: + → Connectors → Manage → Add custom connector. On Higgsfield (50% off) open MCP & CLI, select Claude, copy the link, paste it, name it Higgsfield. Now Claude generates images and video itself, so you never switch tabs.

Send the channel name and Claude makes four logo options. Ask for a channel description too. Then create the YouTube channel and upload the logo and description. (Name taken? Add a prefix like Mr.)

3. Load the 28-page master prompt and the source PDF

Copy Step 2 of the doc (about 28 pages, so copy all of it) into Claude Code. It asks for a source PDF: channel screenshots, branding references, transcripts, thumbnails and templates from winning channels. Download it from the doc’s Resources section and attach it. Claude replies that it’s absorbed.

4. Ideas and script

Type go for 10 ideas built on proven patterns (ask for more any time). I picked The Alcatraz Escape explained. Choose a length (1–10 min, or 20–30 for this niche), then ask Claude to rewrite the tone, for example more conversational.

5. Voiceover

Paste the script into ElevenLabs, use the v3 model, and click Enhance before generating so the delivery sounds human.

6. Consistent characters

Type next and Claude writes character prompts based on your script. Then say “Generate the character images” and Higgsfield makes them. These are the face of your channel. Successful channels keep the same character (e.g. the same red figure) in every video.

7. Animated scenes without losing consistency

Type next and answer “design it” if you don’t have a visual flow. Claude splits the script into about 15-second chapters.

The mistake that ruins everything: don’t just say “generate the clips”. Re-upload your character images and write: “Generate the video clips using the attached images as a reference. Use Seedance 2.5.”

Then ask “Download the video clips into my folder”, and they arrive named by chapter.

8. Edit

In CapCut or any editor: voiceover first, cut dead air, match clips to narration. For a cinematic opening, freeze the first frame, add the date and location as animated text, make it a compound clip and add Glow. Add suspenseful music from the YouTube Audio Library under the voice.

9. Thumbnails

Type next once more for thumbnail prompts, then “Generate all the thumbnail variants” to get five options.
