How To Recreate ANY Viral Video With Your Own AI Character (Full Tutorial)

A clip of an old man in his truck telling someone to get off his pond got 37 million views. Then someone swapped the old man for a different face in a toy car and got 4.6 million. Someone else made it an actor on a horse-drawn carriage and got 7.5 million. Another viral clip was remade with two cats (5.4 million) and then two parrots (6.3 million).

Different videos, same format: take something that already went viral and recreate it with AI. Matching movement, expressions and timing used to be the hard part. Now one tool does it in a few minutes.

Step 1: Create your character

Go to Higgsfield (50% off) and click AI Influencer. There are two options: Create influencer and Motion. Motion does the real work, but only if your character is right.

  • Already have a character (or want to use your face)? Upload the image and the AI builds around it.
  • Starting from scratch? Pick gender, build, hairstyle, age and accessories until the character is unique to you.

Even after uploading, you can still tweak details, for example adding headphones from Accessories. You can generate up to five versions for free.

Step 2: Motion transfer

  1. Click Motion β†’ Motion transfer.
  2. Upload the reference video, meaning the viral clip whose movement you want.
  3. Upload your reference character.
  4. Turn on the prompt section. Most people skip this, and then the AI has to guess what to change.

Step 3: The prompt trick

Drag your reference image straight into the prompt box to tag it, then write something simple:

Change the old man with [my image].

You can swap more than one thing. I generated an image of a Toyota Land Cruiser, uploaded it as a second reference, dragged it into the prompt and added:

Change the truck with [this car].

Step 4: Pick quality and generate

  • 720p or lower: your first video is free, so you can test the method at no cost.
  • 1080p: recommended when you want to go viral, because platforms, especially Instagram, favor high-resolution video.

The result keeps the movement, timing, gestures and camera identical. Only the things you asked to change are different.

Make it yours

One character, one reference video and one prompt is the whole process. Use it on any trend you see. If your version needs narration, use ElevenLabs, and finish the edit in CapCut.
