How To Create Viral Time Travel Vlogs With AI (and go viral)

Viral time-travel vlogs, where someone films themselves in the past or future, are blowing up on Instagram. One account with 18 videos has clips at 4M, 9M and 10M+ views and added almost 500,000 followers in under a month. New accounts with fewer than 15 posts are already at 10–18K followers. Now’s the time, before it gets crowded.

Step 1: The time-travel GPT

In ChatGPT → Explore GPTs, search time travel vlog (link also in the checklist). Choose put yourself inside a vlog, then give it a year, event and location (I used 1912, hours before and after the Titanic sank) and upload a reference photo of yourself. You get five image prompts and five video prompts.

Step 2: Images with Nano Banana 2

On Higgsfield (50% off) → Image → Nano Banana 2:

• Upload your reference photo first
• Paste prompt 1, 9:16, 2K or 4K, 4 images
• Generate, then repeat for each prompt

It places you right in a vlog-style scene, like on deck among Edwardian passengers. Keep the five most realistic.

Step 3: Bring them to life with Kling 3.0

Video → Kling 3.0 (now up to 15 s). Upload image 1 as the start frame, paste video prompt 1, turn Enhance off and Audio on, and set 1080p and 10 s.

Step 4: Multi-shot for cinema

Turn on Multi-shot → Custom (up to five shots). Ask ChatGPT:

Expand the scene into a three-shot cinematic vlog sequence. Each shot must be 3 seconds maximum. Dialogue must be four to six words only. Same location and same moment in time. Only change camera angles: selfie, over-shoulder, side, etc.

Paste each shot description and generate. Repeat for every image.

Step 5: Edit and cover

In CapCut, put the clips on the timeline and add auto captions with a styled template, slightly low so they don’t block visuals. For the cover, use Edit cover, pick a dramatic frame, and add a top label like “I visited the Titanic 🚢” with a background box. Export.
